They're adorable! That's not a bad hatch for shipped eggs.

The sticky chicks I've had I hold right under the faucet with warm water. I keep water away from their heads but everything from the neck down gets rinsed until completely clean. The head I do with a wet sponge. Then towel dry and back into the incubator till dry.
I should have tried a sponge or washcloth, just used my hands and it wasn't as effective.

Congrats on the cuties!!
and Silkies are notoriously bad hatchers, especially if they have a vault
you did a great job!!!!
Thanks to you and everybody else who held my hand through this! Thanks for the education. I know next time things will go better from the get go purely because I learned so much from this experience. And I'm hoping to hatch lots of chicks in the future in order to show. So thank you very much to everyone. It was much appreciated!

x2! I figure a large percentage of folks on this site came here after ruining a few eggs.
(its definitely what happened to me! lol)

just for kicks, I'll tell this long story in abbreviated fashion. My sister-in-law gave me some of her "extra" roosters and drakes. Once I fell in love with them, I decided I wanted them to have some mates. So I started looking at incubators. Found one on my local CL with eggs included, already on day 12! Well, heck, I only had to wait 9 days, right!?!!? Wrong. I screwed up the humidity and killed every last one of them. Then I ended up here. :D Now I have... um... somewhere upwards of 100... 150?....

LOL! That’s a riot! Actually that’s really sad, but your chicken math is a riot!
