I hate that stupid movie!
lol.png
my husband loves it though and turns the marathon on every Christmas. Yesterday he kept repeating the 'meatloaf beetloaf' saying. Ai yi yi! (and every time his dad sees the word fragile he says 'must be Italian' lol)

I recently moved to Hillbilly Central... at one end of the street I live on is the HillBilly Gas Mart - cheap petrol, and the BEST cherry pie EVER EATEN ANYWHERE!! and they make awsome sweet potato fries too. *
at the other end of the street is the Hillbilly Diner, where you can get the full breakfast eggs toast bacon and coffee for just under $3.

so as far as I can tell, "Hillbilly" is all about excellent simple food, cheap.

works for me

but somehow, none of my neighbors seem to have hound dogs.
oh, right, they don't need to.. the local highschool sports teams are the "Houn Dawgs"... I know this is true because it's painted right there up on the water tower...

I love living here! finally, I am at home.

* ok, I'm working on losing my california accent... I would normally have said "Dude! you gotta try the sweet potato fries! they're Totally Awesome! MAN I'm stoked!"

So is Moonshine, but Hillbillys don't CARE

Amen!!! Shine ain't wrong, just a part of life like good friends, good food and good music!

I have a friend who works at an ethanol plant and he makes the BEST shine ever!! strawberry is my favorite flavor, sooooo good in lemonade!

and if the sudden rainstorm puts out the bonfire, a little shine gets it roaring again in no time!

I don't live on a hill and I don't have any dogs. Does that matter? But I do like that lamp. Can I get a pair of them? With Cowboy boots on them?

my husband and I were talking about that at Thanksgiving (we always watch it the first time on Black Friday while we put up the tree).
I love watching mom smirking while Dad is trying to fix the lamp.
