I, personally love Christmas season. I like the Christmas songs in the shops, the Christmas carols on TV, the Christmas movies especially the 3 Ghost at Christmas,the decorations in everywhere, the joyful people, I love it 
There is nothing to indicate this is Christmas in my house, except lots of food and eggnog drink, i love eggnog with rum. No invite friends/families gather. None. Yes, I give out present like 1 mango for each person, no wrapping, just a nice beautiful juicy mango itself.
I grew up with mom making a big Christmas for us kids. In my early adult life, I was busy with work and studies, trying to get some sleep and live my life.
I am the cook, the cleaner, the shopper, the planner, the every thing so one year in my mid 30 I stopped the Christmas work and it has been so wonderfully lovely since. We go out to eat, watch Christmas things on tv, cook whatever fancy, not inviting anyone over, but go out for meals with families and friends.
