Home in St. Louis for pekin duck

My daughter is in college in atchison kansas. Her two roommates and my daughter got ducks around 6 weeks ago. She has grow attached to Rudy, not sure if it’s a boy or girl and she brought it home during Easter break. It is the sweetest pekin and now we are trying to find a good home. If not I suppose we could keep it but feel it might be happier with other ducks. Someone from college has offer to take the pekin and the two other ducks to Wisconsin but it’s freezing in the winter and it’s a friend of a friend of my daughters so we really don’t know them. This is crazy how much we all care what happens to this duck. If anyone has any ideas and knows someone who has ducks in the area around St. Louis Missouri it would be greatly appreciated.
 
Welcome to BYC. Ducks and freezing weather generally do not constitute a problem. They have their own down comforters and a heat exchange mechanism in the blood vessels in their legs.
