I got my last ornament today and had to share the whole experience!!!! lau I love it Thnaks
I'm glad you like it.
I was worried y'all would call in the bomb squad when the packages arrived.
I have been working on ornaments for my tree now & have gotten SO MANY great ideas from you talented ladies.
These swap ornaments will always hold a dear place in my heart when I unpack them over the years.
We moved a lot the last several years & have very few ornaments to show for it. Before all the moves I had a tradition of making a set of ornaments every year & making another with the kids. It has been such a pleasure to resume that tradition & feel like it is something we'll be able to keep track of.
We're going to try to decorate our first eggs on Friday afternoon. (My sons love the decorated eggs.)
I think our pullet eggs will be fun to pull out next year when we unload the ornaments, too & see how much bigger (hopefully) their eggs are.
Any tips from you pros? We're going to use decopage glue, some glitter, and some scrap booking decals, and ribbon to do our entry level eggs. Does that sound about right?
Still haven't heard from one of my swap senders. (Absolutely NOT a problem. The fun part for me has been making the ornaments, sending them out, seeing what everyone got - but MOSTLY getting to know you all better.)
