Homemade Incubator

Has anyone had any success with hatching duck eggs with a homemade incubator? I've heard lots of stories that aren't successful.

There are home made incubator threads here on BYC. Lots of people have had success hatching eggs (ALL kinds of eggs) in home made incubators. Thing are done a bit differently with duck eggs as they incubate longer and require higher humidity. That info is available here as well. Nothing is ever perfect 100% of the time. failures come along with successes. The thing to do is figure out the reasons for either and replicate the successes, fix the failures.
