Thanks thats the reason why I decided to join here BYC is to find questions like this the hatchery does not have pic off the egg

If you really want the dark colored eggs, you should get your Marans from a breeder. Breeders are more likely to focus on egg color and breeding quality birds. The big hatcheries focus on production and quantity. Expect to pay 15-20 dollars per chick from a quality breeder.
