That is true too. But I had one I thought was a girl based on her beautiful smooth head feathers and then the comb came in and the crowing began.A roo judging from head feathers![]()

If you have any comb at all growing then it is probably a boy. My girls have none at all.
As a matter of fact my avatar is the one I am talking about. See how beautifully smooth the head feathers are? But take a good lookat the beak/nares. They are a different shape/size than my girl.
