How Best to Plant My Little Avocado Sapling?

Sorry I took so long to get the pic! Here are a few I just took. How long should I let it go before I get a pot?

Wow, very cool! The leaves on that plant look very different from those on my plant. Maybe it is a different variety of avocado? I do not remember what type mine are...I will try to get a picture at some point.

Really? Interesting! Maybe. They're super thick leaves. It's cool though.

I used cactus mix potting soil for mine since it’s fast draining. They don’t like wet feet. I’m in zone 5 so they come inside under the lights for every winter, but will be back out in the sun in May.
