How can I recreate a longcrower?

You do realize, we will need evidence.

I'm with you-I LOVE the longcrowers! If my DH hadn't put the kaibosh on it this past spring, I would've snatched up the Denizli eggs I saw on ebay.

OMG!!!!!!!

My neighbors would have a fit!!!! So are they a breed, or a quirk that can happen to any breed?

They are a real breed. Well, actually, there are quite a few. There's the Kosova Longcrower (my favorite) the Denizli, and a couple others I don't remember the names of.

I never thought somebody would actually want a rooster that crows more... or longer than the typical roo.
I wish I could find a breed that hardly crowed at all!

They remind me even more of Tyrannosaurs though, it's like they're roaring, not crowing.

(jk) . Im really not sure why i like their crow....... If you want a rooster that hardly crows you could try an EE (i had one that only crowed once or twice a day, and it was very quiet) but EE's are a mutt so its hard to predict wether or not it would be quiet.
