How can I tell a hawk in the sky?

We have a rancher and he kills as many as he can. He has little hunting “parties”. They like to peck out the eyes of his baby sheep. Or at least that’s what he claims. I cannot know.

We have a rancher and he kills as many as he can. He has little hunting “parties”. They like to peck out the eyes of his baby sheep. Or at least that’s what he claims. I cannot know.

They do, and worse... it’s awful. I still love them, but they can be vicious! If there’s not a lot of food around they (ravens) will hunt and kill, in our area usually other birds. I’ve seen them take out eagles and owls, ducks and try to get geese even.
