How do I breed a Silver Pied peafowl?

I have an image of the male now, i sold them all, he is an opal black shoulder.

Keep in mind that's I'm not saying *all* dark silver pieds will not have whites on them, but i had before at least 5 dark silver pied birds with no white on them. Also hatched some few whites.

q8, you raise a couple of questions I have been pondering for awhile... We know that a bird which is split to white (one white gene) OR split to pied (one pied gene) may show a white throat latch and/or one or more white flights. But I am not aware of any way to tell whether it is a pied gene or a white gene, nor whether there is any consistency as to one or the other or both. (My BS hen has both, no solid clue yet which gene is causing it.) Does anyone know if there is a consistent match between one gene or the other and the white throat latch/white flights? I've always thought it could be either, but I don't know for sure.

Does anyone know whether a white eye gene can also show itself through the white throat latch and/or white flights? Or is it just that it turns up as an incomplete (milder) version of white eye when there is a single copy? Do white eye birds with two WE genes have the white throat latch and/or white flights? Or are those simply unrelated to WE genes?

Some Dark silver pied can be darker ....


But the tips of the feathers still more clair !
Q8 .... your Opal was with " silvering " all over the back ?

I have never seen a bird split for pied has white feathers, only the birds split white and white eye birds had white feathers(i'm talking about my birds here). From what I noticed a split white eye bird usually will not show a lot of white feathers, all my split white eye birds looks just any normal birds, if I didn't know their parents I wouldn't know they are split white eye.

The white throat latch could tells the birds is split white or its a white eye bird, but its not necessarily a white eye bird.

I only know if i hatched a white eye male peachick with white throat latch and a lot of white flight feathers, also with a lot of whites on its back then its the bird i want to keep hoping it will be a good white eye bird with most of the train having big white eyes.

The opal hen i had looks normal like any other opal hen, with no silvering on its back.
