I suggest you think about whether you are allowed to keep a chicken where you live, and especially whether you would be allowed to keep a rooster. If that would not be possible, start planning now for what to do when the chick grows up.
My parents also treasure hamlet as much as I do but we do not have a back or front yard that Hamlet can have her coop in; my grandpa owns a hatchery so I am planning that when Hamlet is strong enough to travel (the hatchery is a bit far), she'd stay there so she can be with other chicks.

Assuming that your grandpa agrees, that sounds like a good plan :)

It's very sad that your aunt bought one (dyed) chick as a gift for you.
I hope everything goes well. Thank you for being a kind person and giving this baby a chance!
I think it's very sad too, that they are being dyed, sold and bought, assuming that there are a lot more chicks like Hamlet out there and they are being used as entertainment for small children. Thank you for wishing her well.

Knowing that hamlet is probably just a few days old, how long should I wait til i can give her a little washcloth bath? Her fur has built up with each other which I think is part of the reason why she feels cold even in this temperature

Thank you. Is there any indication of her poop being 'normal'? what does normal chick poop look like?

What hamlet ate during the past few days was some raw egg yolk, she struggled to get a hold of the solids and didn't even want to go near some scrambled eggs but takes to liquids better so I thought the egg yolk would help her get the nutrients she needed.
All the liquids and liquid food is probably why the poop is runny. But the chick should be allowed to drink as much as it needs, since it is warmer where you are.

It didn't look too bad in the photos, and chicks can often be fine with their down a bit dirty or stuck together.

But if it really needs cleaning, you can do it now. Use warm water, and make sure the chick gets thoroughly dry in a warm area.

In my country, people sometimes use a blow dryer (meant for people's hair), or a heat lamp bulb to get the chick dry and warm again.

From what you've said of your weather, you might be able to choose a warm afternoon, and take the chick out in the sun to get dry and warm. Of course you will have to be careful not to overheat the chick, but that would be true for any kind of heat too.

I noticed that Hamlet's stool today is white and foamy (attached picture below), this is the first time i've seen her poop in this color. Is it normal? should I be worried?

She is also eating less than normal and drinking a lot more water today. Took two long naps and chirps loudly even when I re-heat her heating pad (which usually works because she falls asleep when it's warm)

Hamlet doesn't constantly poop like this, her two poops after this one was normal brown and the other one yellow-ish.
