I believe I have 3 girls producing now, so I might need a basket sooner rather than layer, um later!

Yep! And why that happens so often. During the summer though I get about 7-8 dozen a day and I always think there is room for a couple more in my shirt which turns out never to be true.

I don't even think that side saddle apron would hold that many!

Pockets. Sometimes a bowl. Often the fabric of my shirt (when I'm wearing one). A visit to the hen house can result in anything from four to fourteen eggs, I check several times daily to keep the quantities manageable.

I have one of these, and can recommend. **HOWEVER** do not gather eggs in this if you also have goats - they like to jump in and ride along...

I have a winter carhartt onesie that I wear whenever I go outside to do farm chores..
I absolutely love it. Nice deep pockets, I collected my 13 eggs this morning, then My additional 7 at the end of the day.
I haven’t broken one yet, but that’s not saying that I won’t!
I also use a Dunkin’ Donuts cup carrier when I get in the house to do my actual “count”. Don’t know what it is, but I just like the way they look
