How do you retreive your lost HotMail password do they have a toll free number to call ?

Hello,

I have a friend that somehow had his hotmail password changed. He tried to retrieve the password by giving Hotmail his text number so they could text him his password or a code or something but he never got it by text. He did it a couple of times I guess.

Anyway, I told him I'd try to help him find a phone number or email address for Hotmail.

Can anyone offer any helpful advice. He is acutally my farrier and he said he has had that email address forever and doesn't want to have to create a new one.

First of all, Microsoft will only send the PIN# to At&t, Verizon, and Sprint carriers.

The # for support is 800-386-5550. Keep in mind that if you do not have a Premium account(MSN etc)the automated answering machine will hang up on you after asking for information(no further options). It will cost you a $100.00 minimum(free account) to talk with an actual human if you even get the opportunity.

If your account has been blocked because of an error 55, the online account reset form will not work. You will probably need to contact Microsoft Hotmail support at... [email protected] or [email protected] and ask for assistance. Be patient, paid Premium subscribers take 1st priority. It took a friend of mine about 3wks a couple of months ago to get his back.


LOL...I had to reset my MSN Premium account last Sunday. I had to do it over the phone with human support. Right now Hotmail and AT@T are having a hard time with "bots" and hackers compromising the servers. Took about 15min.
