We seem to have the same no lay problem.our isabrowns arrived 2 months ago after we purchased them from a breeder/duck and chicken farmer and allow them to free range in the yard but at night they happily go to bed in their pen.We have not had an egg yet however did in the first 2 weeks noticed yolk splashes on the roof of their laying nest. In frustration I spoke with the farmer and he assured me that they are laying and to check the yard thoroughly which we did with no luck. The y have now been confined to their coop and I got another isa brown on the weekend and put her with the other chickens an have had 2 eggs in three days which I suspect is from the new chicken. The original chickens were young when we got them and have grown considerably so there in lies my dilemma. Does anyone have any advise or had the same experience and found light at the end of the bare coop.
