14 eggs from 24 hens today. But, as the days get a little shorter each day I have been seeing a little dip in their egg laying. I don't do supplemental lighting so, a few minutes less light and a few of them taking a day off that is probably o.k. a number.

Woohoo!! My husband found 3 eggs this afternoon! 2brown/1white...so that makes...hold on can't count on my fingers and type....7 eggs today! out of 14 hens....

I believe the girls are a bit upset with the Coyote hanging around in the morning and the temp's were only around 107 F at 10 AM so I think most of my egg's are under the shed and there is only 18 inches of crawl space so I will have to wait for the kid's to come over to visit before an inspection can be dune ...

2/2 I witnessed Janet laying her egg. I have seen both of my girls singing their hearts out as they jump out of the box.

My muscoveys hen finally laid an egg today and a bunch of pullets laid so I had a pretty egg rainbow. Now I just need my Ameruacana pullets and my Easter Eggers to start laying to add a few more colors to my egg rainbow.
