I guess the lady's are following your train of thinking as they haven't used the nesting box's in several months and yes I have to look under the bushes for the egg's so I can say you understand them very well ......

They sound like a bunch of intelligent girls to me, therefore, it's just common sense on their part.

I can't tell you how happy it makes me to hear that you suspect that came out of a Wyandotte. I have 4 Wyandottes that are 16 weeks old. The possibility of eggs like that makes me smile
