The control group is separated from the roosters of other breeds so the girls are by them selves in the barn safely locked up with fans to move the air around feed is available all day and water and now the timer keeps the light on 15 hours a day and yes they get sun light during the day time so they seem to produce eggs more regularly then the free range chickens and the eggs are not being taken by the crows but the best part is the hens are available for breeding and there is little worry of inter breeding from Molten Hondas and the EE's to the RO's or RIR's ............
