How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I had to arrest one of the egg breakers of my flock. This morning I went to give them food and water. I noticed one chicken that is all the time in the nest, and the other is about to lay. The moment she drops the egg, the currious chicken started punching the new egg with its beak. Before I get there she has already broke the egg. So, I arrested her and locked her in the quarrentine. They're two of them sitting in the nest all day long but the other one was out this morning. Maybe to eat or drink before the massive laying time. I'll arrest her too, nxt time.

@umarson glad you found her I keep the dog crate I use as a table but can also lock an errant one in it
for short spells

pick on the barreds in the nests lock them in the crate they
would lay in it and be fine if they had not yet they where back buggin the

13/14 today, the 2 runs are extremely muddy with the soaking rain we had the whole night. I need to have the 3 week olds to join them soon.

No. Worse. It's bad and with no insurance the dr on call didn't think it was worth it.

Oh got 15 today so far. I'm guessing many from yesterday.
