Sorry about your dad. I hope he gets better soon. Like @penny 1960 said we love our
parents. I lost my dad 5 years ago and I took care of him while he was sick for a whole year. Diebetic he is, and couldn't do anything for himself in his last 4 month. Just do your best to help your dad cos he may have done more than that to you when you're younger.
Good news from my flock here, had no single egg broken today and my chicken in custody didn't lay an egg.
Eggs count: 30/37 and 8/10.

@ tjordan I do understand I lost my Dad 20 years ago, Mom is well
and I can say we are very close no. My friend makes sure we go there
at least every two weeks.

@ umarson So the jail bird looks to be the main culprit for broken
eggs...

Thanks guys for the encouragement. I've been totally beat these last 48 hours. 2 weeks ago he was bad but could move around. Now he has to be lifted everywhere and can't even clean himself IF he's lucky enough to realize he has to go to the bathroom. It helps. Thanks

when we become caregivers to them

My Mom and I moved in with my Grandparents for four years to take care of them as Grandpa has Alzheimer's and Grandma has mild-moderate dementia. So I know a bit of what you're talking about as a great deal of my Grandpa's care and watching fell on me. In December Grandpa was moved to a special care facility and my Mom is now moving back in to care for my Grandma who has fallen into an understandable depression on top of her dementia. Good luck praying for your father and you.
