If she's still there with her babies you should call wildlife. Hopefully they'll pick her up and relocate her. I wouldn't want the opossum to stay in my coop. Not that it's not cute she decided to have babies there.

I agree. Call wildlife. They will safely relocate momma and babies.

10/13 today. Not bad considering I think 2 just started laying. My other 3 have gone to a new home. I was getting crowded and my friend wanted some laying ladies to go with her rooster of the same type.

7/13 Girls must be upset that I locked up the alpha rooster in a separate pen. He became aggressive in the past month and I finally had enough. He belongs to my grandson. Will keep him locked up until grandson comes to visit in June. Then grandson can decide his fate. He is a lovely buff laced polish. Hoping his hormones calm down as spring turns to summer.
