One brown egg from my PR, Ol' Red, one small pink from Braveheart and an equally small 'Celeste' (bluish-green) egg from Muffins, both Easter Eggers. I know they've only been laying a few days now but I really hope theirs start getting bigger soon.

It might take some time. Of my 6 youngest (they have been laying about 2 months) only 1 started off laying large eggs the other 5 all laid small, they are laying small/med to med/large now. I expect by spring at least the 2 bards will be laying at full size. But like with when they each start, they each progress differently too

Total of 6/11 eggs today. But I royally passed off a few working on the coop so I'm sure the next few days might be a little lower then normal.

A little more work to do. I have to weatherproof the roof (which might involve a rebuild), raise the north and south side walls (to much wind movement in the coop), weatherproof and exterior on the new nesting boxes, and re-securing the current exterior as some of the panels have been falling off. Lots to do...

All I need to do is get someone out there with a shop vacuum to clean
the burlap it is full of dust..

3 out of 14 hens- alot of them are molting aha

I half jokingly while the chickens were making thier way into the coop for the night that they would just have to figure it out. There where 3 on the bars 2 in the nesting boxes and the rest lost and confused on the ground. I came back out a few minutes later to see how they were managing and all 11 were finding thier spots. No one was even one the lowest bar everyone trying to get as high as they would be allowed.
