Your right I am not upset other then I am not getting my correct egg count and yes I do sell her and outers chicken eggs at a very nice price of $ 1. per dozen but they must provide the egg cartons but she also is not stable in the head and she is not brothering much else but I sure would not want others coming into the yard and just taking things as they please ..

Here is a funny I have had people in their 20 come over asking for a chicken for dinner and I told them sure I have several Roo's I need to get rid of and these same people want me to do it all for them and heck if I am going to clean a chicken or other bird I might as well put it in the pressure cooker myself but this lady when I give her a Roo she will run off with it alive and I wont see her for several days, so funny how some people's mind work .

Highs mid 30s yesterday, mid 20s last night, mid 30s today. Relentless wind for days from the Northwest. Up to 18 inches of lake effect snow in the Northwest part of the state. Only a dusting here. Chickens hanging out under the coop. 4/5 today GC

8 today. But the temps have been in the low 30s high 20s at night and only low 40s to high 30s during the day. So. I kind of expect there to be a drop in production our at the very least a slowing in laying.

So, glad I don't typically have to worry about freezing temps. Although, we get up to 115 in summer

We really do not have allot of freezing temps here either
at 10 of 18 + 2 but the day isn't over my ladies lay till almost dark

Happy Thanksgiving to you too Gander! I am getting ready to head over to my parent's house tonight. My Mom moved back home from the nursing home today, but they can't get anyone to come stay with her tomorrow while my Dad goes to heart therapy ( because of the holidays), so I'm going over to "Mom sit"!)

Gander, we tied egg counts today. I also only got 3. Did you butcher your turkey or was that not the purpose for it?
