I cant advertise my eggs for sale...my gals are illegals! Lol. I do sell a dozen or two a week. But I mostly give them to my neighbors...hush hush payment! LOL. My daughter has petitioned City Hall to change the ordinance...of course they are dragging feet. Apparently it requires lots of big wigs, studies, tests, blah blah blah....to determine if chickens are a fit in a RURAL TOWN!!!

Good Morning!

3/3 today. Easter Egger (Edie, blue egg), Rhode Island Red (Ruthie, dark brown egg) and Black Austrolop (Bessie, light brown egg). Ruthie and Bessie are pretty regular, Edie is usually 2 out of 3 days, but just recently started laying eggs. I live in Central Florida BTW.

Let me know if you have any success! I've been looking for ways to use them and have actually gave some away. I had planned to eat some for breakfast every day and make a big breakfast on Saturdays for the family but I'm up to my eye balls in eggs.

My wife has started dehydrating our garden produce, and says you can scramble the eggs, dehydrate, and rehydrate them to eat much much later. Also, some people dehydrate them raw and use the powder to cook with (insert health warnings here).
