10 out of 13, looks like molting didnt slow them down for long! We're back to selling 4 or 5 dozen eggs a week to friends and family, which is good since the girls are eating us out of house and home (Is it my imagination or are they ALWAYS hungry?) . We use egg money to fund the chicken feed!

Alright my Spangled Orloff's really pulled one off today with 1 egg each for a total of three egg's now the only surprise about this is it snowed on Mt McKinley last night and that mountain is only twenty miles to the north as the crow fly's and as it was rather warm when I fell asleep watching TV with the front and back door open to let the breeze pass through the house but then I woke up at four in the morning and the temp had dropped from  the low 90's to the mid 40's oh wow the cold gave me such a head throb that I had most of the day but it did get back in to the mid 60's by the end of the day ,,,,

Oh I also forgot to set my clock back wow did it get dark early

Oh my gosh! 90 to 40 degrees! That's a shock...I get the same way with tempture change! Major headache

Away all day and got home late this evening and 8 egg's with 6 egg's in one nesting box next box o and the third box 2 egg's wow maybe I should leave more often .......

My little girl is a rock star! Being new to laying and giving me two her first day and laying another the next morning, I thought for sure she'd need a day or so break, but nope. Still gave me another one

The face of one of my cuckoo marans is getting really red now so I'm thinking she will start laying soon as well

6/9 Not a single EE laying, but one is taking care of her baby, one is molting big time, and the others are prima donas who figure if Agatha and Daphne don't have to lay eggs they shouldn't have to either.
