oh yea I had 4/5 today but last night my vacation girl layed one late
when out to lock them in for night and there it was so it was a 5/5 from
the Barred sisters may 5/5 come morning.
still have 13 barred pullets 3 EE pullets all too young to lay
4 eggs from the control group and 1 is going into the incubator
2 eggs from the free range chickens
1 goose egg and it is being used for a super prize for the little children 5 years and younger
Temp 85F degrees
Well this guy turned into this
Found this up and running around the incubator in the morning
From Saturday 19 March to 24 March average one chick per day and Friday 8 hatches and 7 survivors on Friday 25 March 2016 and I have 2 more eggs peeping at the moment
After being gone all day this is what I came home to this evening
Ya a total mess as three of six eggs were sent mail order and three of six hatched and three lived but are a total mess but Molten Houdan's are a very fragile chicken so I am really happy to be having two living so far ... So two Molten Houdan's and two are Russian Orloff's and three are Easter Eggers I would say not bad as these eggs were set to hatch tomorrow night
The two on the end are the next tow getting ready to jump out into the world
I do believe this has to be the messiest hath I have ever had in my life I must have had the humidity way too high
