First quail eggs! so I ended up with 8/13, 2/4 2/3 and no pullet eggs.

Faliling behind again, 3 for 3 on Tuesday. I need the Wednesday count from my wife. The girls are delivering, I'm just not home to collect.

4/5 here but I am also sad to say My mom is called terminal now and all
they can do is comfort care for her they cannot say if it will be a week or a month
just that all functions in the body are shutting down for this form
of brain eating dementia

Temp 94F degrees and the winds did not even kick in till late evening

This little turkey got tired of the brooder and came in the front room to watch TV with me and got on the back of the couch and slid under the covers and got all comfee, ya not but 2 weeks old and already acting like a human

So sorry to hear about your Mom.

My Mom is not doing well either. The doctors can't figure out what is wrong with her & in the meantime she is barely eating or drinking any fluids.

16 eggs today.
I also did eggtopsies on the eggs that didn't hatch from this last batch ( which would be all of them). 1 was fully developed & had absorbed the yolk but did not appear to have even internally pipped. 2 others were fully formed (as far as I could tell) but had not absorbed all the yolk or pipped at all. 3 others had developed far enough to have feathers but were still half the size of the previous chicks.. About 3 more had stopped pretty early, you could see about nickel size black blobs, but that was pretty much all you could see. Another 2 or 3 had barely started anything & there rest were clears.

So sorry to hear about your Mom.

My Mom is not doing well either. The doctors can't figure out what is wrong with her & in the meantime she is barely eating or drinking any fluids.

this dementia they have said is an infection in her.. key is the first ones said her brain was normal....
has a neurologist seen your Mother yet ? Thank you Karen
