One single egg out of 7 that should be laying. Dewormer arrived today, so we’ll be taking care of that tonight once everyone is in bed.

My Giant Cochin in her broody coop said too hot in here took them into the small coop with her buds, peeps, she coo coo'ed all the way there so cute to see

12 out of 15 today. Four of them were cracked which sucks because I needed those four to complete a nine dozen order by tomorrow. The whatchamacallit membrane wasn’t punctured so they are still good and I’ll keep those for myself. Either one of my new pullets is trying to make a nest or my avatar is trying to help with the egg laying process. He’s done that before with pullets that are about to lay for the first time.
