7 of 10 laying today. My white leghorn hasn’t missed a single day in the 7 weeks she’s been laying.

Almost everyone molting... 1 egg so far. Been averaging 2 - 3 per day since molt started.

My leg horn cross is my only one that lays daily, like clock work every morning by 8:00 am.

1 this morning. Out of a dozen, I've been averaging 4 a day. But they've only been laying for about 3 weeks now. Some aren't as old as others, so maybe they'll start laying soon.
Someone is giving away about a dozen chickens. I was considering it, but would have to build another coop.

Beware of chicken math....

Could be a double yolker, not uncommon in new layers!

I got three yesterday, one so far today, but it is still early...
One of my other 8 pullets comb has reddened up recently, so I expect her to be the 4th soon!

Mine wised up. I put some styrofoam plastic pieces in front for lips and one of them kept falling off. But they don't kick it out anymore.

It does count, I suppose . I kinda figure that's what's happening with mine, too. Its the 4th cracked one I've found. The dummies keep kicking all of the bedding out. If I put any more of a lip on the front they won't be able to get in! I guess I'll just keep adding more daily for now. Only 2 more weeks and then they can start the move out of quarantine into the big coop with better nest boxes.

Today we got 5 yay! This morning I got a video of 2 in the boxes and left them alone. Several others came in and out, squacking. I went back a couple hours later and there were 5. whoohoo.
