I’m going to stop counting the girl that keeps laying broken thin eggs until she gives me a solid one, so I got 5 out of 8 today. And I can confirm my last new layer out of the second youngest girls. The next batch are about 5 weeks behind them, so I’ll probably have more in a month or so

1 out of 4 pullets that starting laying Mid-October, it's been about a week like this. The sun goes down around 4:30 these days . I've got 3 20week old pullets, fingers crossed it'll be sooner rather than later when they start laying (I'm not holding my breath, I live in Zone 5b/6a).

Only 2 today. The poor people on my egg customer list are only getting around a dozen a month. Some of them are used to going through 2 or 3 dozen a week!

Nice! I usually have to wait until around 3 pm before mine are all done. Which means sometimes I’m collecting eggs in the dark.
