How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

2 of 7 yesterday and 4 the day before. Both EE in boxs this am so at least 2 today we will see whether the others lay any. The 2 EE's have been producing half the eggs now out of 7 chickens.

8 today, but I broke one (drats!); yesterday one of my pullets laid a lovely olive coloured egg.

And two others the past week - a nice blue egg and one laying a pink egg

Now if I can just not break them! Ha!

4 today from my 12. I am hoping they get feathered in pretty soon. I worry that they will get cold. Frankly for the end of November we have had excellent weather. Everybody says to make chicken tenders out of them but I say nay they stay! So i figure we will get new replacements in the spring and the old flock will stay on.

I think I got 7 today, but one was busted open in the nest and made a mess. Had to wash several eggs.
