5 eggs this morning. I had to take out some warm water for them to drink first thing today. Got down to 28 degrees and froze their watererererererers.

That looked like a soft shell egg from what I could tell. Unless it starts happening all the time I wouldn't worry too much. It's pretty common to have a softie here and there. Especially if you have new layers, or if they're going into, or out of, a molt. Do they have oyster shell available?

Thank you so much. They do, but she hasn’t been touching it. I put out a new red container of it to hopefully draw her over, and a calcium citrate to help boost her levels in the meantime.

Ducked out when the rain turned to drizzle to treat them with a scattering of scratch (enjoy the open run before the rain starts again, girls!) and found 3 eggs, but some often lay in mid-afternoon so I'll check back later. They've been popping out of their covered run to scratch & play between showers.

A Pacific cyclone's supposed to "brush" the coast today & tomorrow with heavy rain & gusty winds up to 45 mph, hope we don't lose power.
