I got one Muscovy egg but it was frozen. I have so many that I was okay with that. I wish she would rest and quit laying for a while.

Well hens are back to laying, so getting a few more now .

It's still a deep freeze here and the heifers, teenagers (pullets) are too dumb to lay in nest box!! Nooooo let's lay in bedding hidden way away under poop boards... where Mom can't see them so once I found them this what I got!!

Thanks mother nature almost a dozen egg projectiles!! I could kill Goliath with these things?!

Oooo I love them I have this thing for stripes - I got my nieces Barred Rock here and I just love her to bits - Larry - she’s 5 though and lays brittle eggs unfortunately. I have been dosing her with calcium to see if I can Up her calcium reserves.

I plan on getting a couple French Cuckoo Marans this spring - hope for nice dark eggs

Mine make quiet nasal noises, almost as if they were geese!

I saw where Metzer Farms sells chicks and ducklings to cities close to the Canadian and Mexican borders. Then the buyer drives across and picks them up for the post office in the States and drives back across to their homeland. That is how some of them can arrive to our friends in other countries.

I am a good 3 hrs to the border - expensive drive for 4 chicks - oh not that I wouldn’t do it in the past! But now fuel prices are outlandish!!!

I figured maybe they only shipped large quantities to the places that sell them there, not sure but I know even the birds are probably more expensive in the stores as they mentioned the shipping prices were higher.
