Thought I share with you the cutest egg I believe was layed by a Welsumer pullet. Found it partially buried. I added the other two eggs so you can see how tiny it was.

Yesterday was a 2 egg day, day before was a 3 egg day. I am hoping for another 3 egg day today! I have a small flock that aren't all mature enough to lay yet; however, at 25 weeks exactly, my BCMx started laying beautiful olive colored eggs! I also have a buff frizzle and an orange frizzle that lay for me every day! They are my most consistent. I also have a light brahma and gold speckled appenzeller, that are just coming to age to lay anytime! I get just as excited as they do when they lay! haha!! I also have a splash and chocolate silkie that are just teenagers, so not expecting anything from them yet.

Sis got two brown GC eggs today. The girls are not happy this week, with no free range time thanks to Jade’s shenanigans. Saturday I think I’ll let them out for a bit.

An even dozen today.

My oldest chicks are/should be starting to lay. But it’s a free for all in the barn so who knows if they are or not?!
