How messy are doves and pigeons?

Ringneck dove are own species of dove, generally tame to pet n let you hold or sit on finger, n can be trained to flutter to you on command. They are more fragile than cortnix quial but most find this endearing along with drinking bird motion they do when loudly constantly courting. They are perfect for raising quail without incubator.
I had show lines and that's all the good on them. Racers/homers same basic type of breed of rock dove species (scientific name recent changed to rock pigeon, pigeon being now any dove growing to eight ounces or more). Rollers and any other breed of pigeon is same species.
Racers/homers great if want strong bird to take out to release n work with, given big co-op or loft for group. If one duck didn't get what needed a group of homers won't out of your housing situation. Rollers may do good as they take a lot less space, but sounds like you may have factory farm setup if space that limited n quality of care may suffer so nothing bigger n better needs than ringnecks, ferals tumblers rollers. Tumbler breeds that include rollers flights tipplers etc breeds need less space per group crowding doesn't do much stress them if they're allowed to fly daily if in what most consider large hutch or coop type cage. Ringnecks will need larger aviary if housed together even then when pair upmay kill each other so pairs of ringnecks best seperated from other birds (though I've kept multiple pairs in indoor flight type aviary with quial tiels budgie finches etc n they nested best in hanging flower pots out of reach of quial laying in nests). Tumbler breeds eat a lot less and seem to thrive on any commercial feed for any bird as long as given enough exercise to motabolize it. Ringnecks need better quality feed to stay healthy were actually budgie pellets seem to oddly work best but they prefer eating all quail feed they can and scattering rest. Basically. If just want small birds to sit in small cage being eye candy, small show pigeons will be best because they stay small size of quial at most and multiple can be enjoyed housed together hopefully in decent cage like tiny flight cages for songbirds and budgie, or small cages and coops for chickens rabbits and guinea pigs. Some show breeds may need foster parent pigeons for breeding.muscovy ducks I've had from some of lines are incredibly friendly esty even like puppies, even in large free ranging groups pond creeks springs river pasture n woods, they'd follow around all day as guinea chickens pigeons parrots etc birds rabbits cats dogs goat etc, wagging lil tails as happy getting petted as rest whenever I stopped moving. Yours must have been large meat breed Drake as they supposedly can get terrible (mine never did but they were mixed with other lines). Good luck n keeps updated. Yes it's terrible dumping domestic pet in park but most don't realise that and if other ducks it's breed then it probably doing good unless released in fall or winter.

On the up side I owned Muscovy ducks and they would fair much better in a feral state than most domesticated ducks. Especially the female where they can fly as well as any Mallard. Muscovy drakes on the other hand are pretty much flightless. Their meat is a delicacy and is more akin to beef than poultry. Not greasy like goose. They are death on slugs and eat a ton of insects. When managed correctly a good tool for any gardener.
Do you have any ducks now?

I don't have ducks anymore. Are you asking Hokum or me?
I know...
