how much do you charge for your eggs?

$3.00 a dozen and we sell all we can get from our 19 Gold Comets. We just added another 11 started pullets yesterday but they won't be laying for at least another month but when they do we'll be able to keep up with the demand. I sell them at work and my co-workers actually line up outside my door before I get in to get their eggs. Last week for the first time one of them twittered me for eggs the night before!!! Like, get in line Dude!

I've been paying 1.50 a dozen from two different families at church. Hope to have my own eggs by late summer. Plan to start out just giving them away to family for a time.

Here my feedstore is selling eggs for $3/doz
The local Farmers Market was charging $4/doz last year

But when I go to Whole foods in Chgo I've seen "Free Range Organic" brown eggs selling for $.59 EACH!

Here In Ecuador, We Get 2.40 A Dozen For Our Free Range Eggs. Believe Me, That Is Big Money Here Where A Filet Mignon In A Restauarant Only Costs 6 Bucks.

Regular Eggs Here Go For 72 Cents A Dozen.

Just Thought This May Be Of Interest.
