How much is shipping for a chicken

Hello I'm looking to ship a bird from Florida to Arizona, about how much would it cost?

There are a lot of factors that make this very greatly such as age, breed, how many are going to determine box size needed. Then from there it is calculated by distance traveled. I have seen anywhere from $50 to $100. Usually a breeder is able to give you an estimate by your zip code.

For me NY to WI was estimated at $65 for three bantams

Am I able to ship just 1 bantam rooster?

When I ship anywhere in the US I charge $60-75 for box and shipping.

For me, actual shipping from the east coast to the west coast was $93 not including the box.

I think you usually have to be NPIP certified and/or have a health certificate for the bird to ship it. (There are official rules somewhere.)

I was going to say the same thing as Birds of A Feather. Be sure to check your state and the state they are going to for requirements for shipping birds and also the USPS to ensure you have what they require to ship.
