How often do you clean the brooder?

I used a deep litter method with about 4-5 inches of pine shavings for bedding, I stirred/turned the litter everday so the poop would not be on the surface and it dries up and doesn't stink Yea some does wind up back on top after a few times but it's dried up by then. I could go about 3 weeks before it had to be changed.

This post must have jinxed me because tonight when I checked the brooder it was soaking wet! My waterer had leaked again and the chicks were soaked!
I of course got to work and cleaned the whole thing!
They were very happy with the fresh bedding!
