ummm -I wouldn't be to sure they are all hens the 2nd and 3rd photo looks like a roos....I would say 4 weeks old max....their stance is what what screams roo to me very pretty though
damn, my neighbors are so going to kill us...
In Portugal you can't buy chickens in stores or via Internet, you have to buy them in the local grocers market...and the guy told me that they were all hens... darn, o well let's just see how it goes.
Just one last question, to taken outside the brooder to the coop, should I wait for another 4 weeks?
The weather here in Portugal now averages the 15ºC night and 30ªC day...
depends on the natural size of the breed, the first one has much more complete/even feathering than the other 2 ( i know no.3 is a transylvanian naked neck but still)
during the day is the perfect temperature to put them outside!
at night it might be a bit too chilly so i'd either move the lamp or move the chicks back inside
Overall, they all are feathering I can see them in the morning stretching the wings and when we hold them we can see. we will try to take better photos tonight. There's no feathers in the belly tough
