silver laced Wyandotte was the first to lay at 19 weeks
Barred ROck~Im not sure if she layed the eggs, or if it was the SLW again, but if it was her 20 weeks.
Easter egger was 20 weeks too.
the EE layes creamy brown color
the SlW lays a red/brown color and the BR (if it is laying) lays a brown orange color.
my other three aren't laying yet.
So jealous...my white bantam silkie...well she is more than 7months old (probably 29 weeks) and still no egg. I wonder if that is because it is she hanging out with a bunch of 3 month olds pullets who haven't lay yet.
I have 2 red sex links ~ 25 weeks and not laying. I still have them on starter grow. The last couple of weeks I have been mixing 1 part laying pellets to 10 parts starter grow. Is this ok? Anything I should do different?

Will this delay things? I am in the same boat...
I'm no expert, but it wouldn't surprise me if it could! You know that women who live all together often end up with somewhat synchronized cycles, so why not chickens? I believe most herd animals are the same way.
I have BR and some of them started laying at 18 1/2 weeks. The eggs are about 2 inches long and 1.5 wide. I have 26 and a little more than half are red in the comb and wattle. So far I've had 2 eggs on Monday 9/21, none on 9/22, 1 on 9/23, 2 on 9/24 all the eggs are about the same size with nice healthy shells.
