How old?

His got his feathers pull out one night while sleeping in a tree and this is the way he looks now. He has been breeding the pea hen and i have 2 eggs but don't know if they are fertile. What do u think.I am not going to crack it to see.

Looks to be a two year old, but saying that, I've got a bs male hatched last May that has at least 20+ eye feathers. I'll have to get a couple pics soon to show you guys. I was absolutely shocked to see how big and how much he feathered out as a one year old.

so if not he is most likely atleast 2.

I have a male under 1 that has a dark belly already

It is my understanding that he must have a couple eye feathers but my pied has about 30 eye feathers and he is just under 2 and he has been breeding 2 hens and none of their eggs have been fertile so I guess it will just depend on the male, I would set them and see what happens can't hurt to try .
