These little chick is a female I am assuming because she is now almost six weeks old and has not begun to show a comb. I bought some Silkie chicks at Farm and Fleet to keep her company because she was the only egg that hatched out of some fifty or more eggs that failed to either thrive after hatching or get to the peeping stage.
I know this might be hard to believe but she is so tiny compared to my other Serama chicks that survived. I weighed her and she is under 2 ounces.
Does this mean that she will be an AA? The Silkies are only 1 week old and she is 6 weeks here and not much bigger than the chicks?
