Hello, I'm working on a project with my rooster's spurs. I'm making earrings, but before I do anything I'm unsure on what to use to clean them. Yes, the inside is hollow, with dry blood from when they were removed. Which, is why I need them cleaned- regardless they need cleaned.
I'm curious on what to use to clean them without destroying them, if this makes sense. I want the dark green-brown color of the spurs to stay, and I don't want the spurs layers to flake and peel. I'm sure using spurs for a project instead of getting rid of them right away isn't extremely done a lot, so I'm not expecting much. Any ideas?
