how to encourage my hens to lay their first eggs

If the rooster is mature, the eggs may be fertile, but I think it might be good to wait at least a few weeks before you start collecting the eggs to incubate. The hen may need a little time to get the egg making perfected, lol.

today i caught the rooster mating (or trying to) they are the same age so i pretend the eggs will come soon or does the rooster mature faster the the hen , and i have an other question: does the first eggs that i'll have will be fertile (good for hatching) or not?
Yes, the males mature before the females.
Males will start mounting at about 4 months old,
females do not start to lay until 5-6 months.
Brahma's can be later to lay than other breeds.
First eggs may be fertile but better to wait at least a few weeks before incubating/hatching them.
First eggs are rather small and can take weeks to months to get larger.

On the other hand, there is nothing better than those small pullet eggs--fry up 6 in a pan and enjoy.
