How to help sick pullet get ready for egg laying stage?

@Tanya22, I agree with the others. It’s time to put the poor thing out of her misery. She is ill, she has deformed legs that likely won’t get better, and she can’t even drink on her own. Her quality of life is not good. I know you and your mom have the best of intentions, and I give you credit for trying, but it sounds like it’s time to let her go. Sometimes the kindest thing we can do for our animals is the hardest thing for us.

I will only suggest as I know @Tanya22
She's my very good friend and I know she love tooki so much

As long as tooki is alive give a lot of love and care which u are doing

Spend a lot of time with her

We don't know how long tooki last we only can pray for her

Sending u all the good wishes

What I personally believe & I hope @Wyorp Rock agree with me that tooki was fine & her vet visit let her soak the bacteria of Mareks that sick her
Because tooki was fine in her early age she get worsen after visiting the vet

Yeah I agree with you there's no improvement come after months of Multivitamin and calcium doses

I also thinking for Marek's but the fear is this that she having another Rooster too if tooki have Marek's possible that brownie have Mareks too as this is the super contagious thing

She will not cull her at any sake
She love her so much
She will care for her till last
I also want tooki recover but at any resort I suggest nothing work

Neither sling nor Vitamin

I don't know what tomorrow brings it's hard to loose a pet
@Tanya22
I know that Tanya loves her and you Saani have been a good friend and tried to help her find a solution, but sometimes there is not one.

Marek's is contagious, but not all chickens will become symptomatic. The rooster could get sick or he may just become a carrier. It's hard to even know if Tooki has Marek's or not. The legs were deformed long before she finally came to the place where she is now with having the "splits".
IF Tooki does have Marek's, she is actively shedding the virus while she is symptomatic. Even if she improves some, she still has the difficulty of overcoming her leg deformities. Sadly, when a chicken has a condition like this, the quality of life is just not there. I know that you, me and others have discussed this with Tanya on several occasions so she is aware.

Ultimately, it's her decision what to do. If she decides to continue, all we can do is give her our support, show her kindness and wish her and Tooki well.
