As Ridgerunner mentioned I'd recommend using hog rings... once you figure out how to apply them it goes pretty fast, and the pliers needed are fairly cheap. Zip ties for anything bigger than simply wire-to-wire. Hog ring some hardware cloth/welded wire up the wall of the run, then bend in an L at the bottom so it rests on the ground. Ideally you want to go 18-24" out if possible. Use landscape staples to "tack" it down.
Very hard to see, but two upper arrows are pointing at the hog rings I could spot (they blend in so hard to see others), and two lower arrows are pointing at zip ties for securing to bigger pipes (I replaced the plastic zip ties with stainless steel for extra security)

I have tree roots under part of my run so burying it was not an option.
