Animals watching TV; it happened to me with a cat.
We were watching a show about merecats on 'Animal Planet' one day and Rusty became intersted in the merecats. She started listening and looking intently at the merecats doing there little merecat things. A commercial came on and she sat there looking like she was 'thinking'. The show came back on and she was immediately entranced again. She started sitting on her hind legs and letting her front legs hang down (just like merecats do)! She was practicing looking like a merecat! It was the most bizarre thing to see. I have a huge mirror above the fireplace and she loved to get up there and look at herself in the mirror 'pretend to be' a merecat! Her 'merecat stage' lasted about a year. My friends would ask what she was doing and I would explain. I have no doubt that she knew what she was doing and apparently enjoyed it...
