how to tell which chicken is eating eggs

My chickens have recently started eating their eggs. I have researched on how to resolve the problem, but i need to know which chickens are actually doing the eating. Is there a way i can tell who is eating them?

Sometimes they will have a bit of crusty egg yolk on their face, otherwise you really need to sit quietly and watch and hope to catch her.

One way I read about was to roll a fake egg onto the ground amongst the whole flock,
the one who goes at the egg the hardest maybe your culprit.
