Pink salt. It is sodium nitrite. While low percentage, 5-6% if I remember right, sodium nitrite can cause headaches.

Cured meat has it, uncured doesn't.

I'm late answering this but I'm not even sure I know how it happened and no I don't know anyone in real life but I have since made great friends while working with other awesome project managers and staff.

I think I might have gotten that one before or something similar and it did help but still pretty salty hah but I don’t normally eat bacon that much anyway but I want to start more.

Bacon has lots of salt unless it's specifically a sugar cure (disgusting)

Ah okay that makes sense! I think I do too cause I eat hot dogs or regular sausage for the same reason. Then again hot dogs are pretty vile anyway but the only sausage I can eat is the Jones one or whatever it’s called without that stuff in it.

While we’re talking about meat with salt and sugar - I just have to say, honey glazed ham is disgusting. I don’t know why anyone would ever buy it.
